Dr. Tran

Dr. Tran has joined our practice as a partner doctor at the Antelope location!

Dr. Binh Tran graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. While at UCLA, he spent two years doing scientific research on myfibroblasts and is published internationally in three journals.

After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Tran spent a year teaching at his former junior high school in the Oakland Unified School District. Following his teaching term, he enrolled in the University of Southern California (USC) dental school, where he received his dental degree (DDS).

At the end of his last year at USC, Dr. Tran matriculated into the Orthodontic Residency program at St. Louis University in Missouri, where he received his Orthodontic Certificate and his Master’s Degree in Dental Science (MSD).

Dr. Tran enjoys watching sports and playing outdoors. He also enjoys experimenting with new technology, reading books, and watching movies. On his sunny days off, he can often be found at local parks with his family.

Dr. Mietz

Dr. Courtney Mietz grew up in Galt, California, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–Arizona, where she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.

Following dental school, Dr. Mietz completed her orthodontic specialty training at Saint Louis University, earning both a Master of Science degree and a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Her graduate research focused on evaluating orthodontic treatment outcomes using innovative 3D-printed braces.

After practicing orthodontics in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Mietz returned home to California, where she is passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles through personalized care and advanced orthodontic techniques.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mietz enjoys traveling, staying active with walking and fitness classes, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family.
